Our Curriculum

At Kids Oasis we have many different programs in place for the children. Our main aim for every child is to reach their full potential in their early years and to attain a smooth transition into their primary education. We aim to achieve goals which are closely linked to the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF). Some of these goals include having a strong sense of identity, being connected with and contributing to their world, developing a strong social, physical and emotional well being, becoming confident and involved learners developing strong dispositions for learning and becoming effective communicators, developing a strong engagement in texts, making meaning from a range of media and so much more.

Being, Belonging, Becoming the Early Years learning Framework for Australia

We strive for educational excellence within a warm, safe and caring environment. Our main educational curriculum is a balance of free and directed play. Play is an integral part of early years development, it is the foundation of every child’s work. Our educators use play, exploration, critical thinking strategies and investigation as a tool for learning.

Kids Oasis is heavily involved in our local community, we have many stakeholders from our local community visit the centre and complete in-services or incursions with the children on a regular basis- GrowFit, Aboriginal Elders and their families, Kym The Reptile Man, Bayside Council Sustainability programs, Diver Dave's Seas Adventures, Living Safely with Dogs, Bunnings workshops and so much more! We also take our Buru Group (4-5 years olds) on regular excursions to local parks, cafes and visits to Kingsgrove Woolworths for Healthy Food Discovery Tours!

Visit our Preschool Program Page for more information on how we get the children prepared for big school!
